SimpleK12 Webinar- Kids Need to Code
Coding, Programming and Gamification Resources
There has been lots of discussion lately about how important it is to immerse students to coding and programming earlier and early. This page will be be dedicated to Kids, coding, gaming and programming. In the past I have used robotics and gamestar mechanics in my classroom for students to have an introduction to programming. But the options out there are so diverse and available today. I am really intrigued and trying to find ways to introduce my students to some of these options. Still working it all out in my head. But I plan on putting some of the resources I am researching here.
Chris Betcher - Coding for Kids
This Video by Chris Betcher for K12online Conference is AMAZING. Also find Chris on twitter at @chrisbetcher. I found this a little overwhelming so to help organize this in my head, here are my notes basically. So I can easily explore. Below I have link the resources that Chris shares in his videos.
